These Terms of Use govern access to the Sowban Trading website, customer accounts, product information, orders and delivery services. By browsing the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below.

1. About Sowban Trading

“Sowban”, “Sowban Trading”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Sowban Trading, operating from MAA Monjil (2nd Floor-west side), 6/1 Hafizullah Road, Begum Bazar, Chawkbazar Model Police Station, Dhaka 1211, Bangladesh. “You” and “customer” refer to any person who visits the website or places an order.

2. Eligibility and customer accounts

• You must be legally capable of entering into a contract. A person under 18 may use the service only with a parent or legal guardian.
• You must provide accurate, current delivery and contact information.
• You are responsible for protecting your login details and for activity carried out through your account.
• We may restrict an account or order where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, repeated refusal, unlawful activity or misuse of promotions.

3. Product information and authenticity

We sell imported packaged foods, beverages and grocery products sourced through trusted suppliers. Product photographs, packaging, language, colour and minor design details may change when a manufacturer updates its packaging. We aim to show accurate names, sizes, origins, prices and availability, but an obvious technical or data-entry error may be corrected before dispatch.

Always read the physical label before consumption, especially the ingredients, allergen statement, preparation directions, storage instructions, batch details and expiry or best-before date. Website descriptions do not replace the manufacturer’s label or professional dietary or medical advice.

4. Prices and promotions

• Prices are displayed in Bangladeshi Taka and may change before an order is placed.
• “Wholesale price” or “wholesale value” means Sowban’s competitive selling price is available in normal retail quantities; it does not guarantee that the price is lower than every seller at every time.
• Delivery charges are separate unless expressly included and are shown or recalculated at checkout.
• If an obvious pricing error is discovered, we may contact you for approval at the corrected price or cancel the affected item before dispatch.
• Coupons and promotions may have stated dates, stock limits, account limits and exclusions. Abuse may lead to cancellation.

5. Orders, acceptance and availability

Submitting checkout is an offer to buy. An order is accepted when Sowban confirms it for fulfilment. Products may become unavailable because imported stock is limited or multiple customers order simultaneously. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement. An unavailable item may be removed, replaced with your consent, or cancelled.

You may request cancellation before dispatch. Once a parcel has been handed to the courier, cancellation may not be possible and reasonable delivery or return costs may apply where the cancellation is not caused by Sowban.

6. Payment

Sowban currently accepts Cash on Delivery. Pay only the amount shown on the invoice or confirmed order total. Never share an OTP, PIN, password or banking credential with anyone claiming to represent Sowban. If electronic payment is introduced later, its terms and refund route will be disclosed before payment.

7. Delivery and inspection

Delivery area and charges are calculated from the address, district, area or suburb, parcel weight and selected delivery option. Estimated dates are not guarantees where delays result from traffic, weather, public disruption, remote-area access, courier capacity or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Please inspect the parcel and visible condition of the products in front of the delivery person before paying. If an item is visibly wrong, damaged, leaking, expired, unsealed or tampered with, refuse the affected item and contact Sowban immediately. Full details are in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

8. Returns and refunds

Return eligibility depends on the reason, product type, seal, food-safety risk and condition. Opened food or drink is generally not returnable for change of mind, but a verified hidden defect, spoilage or safety issue may still qualify. Read the Return & Refund Policy before ordering.

9. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may use the website for lawful personal shopping. You must not interfere with security, scrape the catalogue at disruptive scale, submit false orders, misuse customer information, copy protected content for commercial use, impersonate another person or attempt unauthorised access. Sowban’s name, visual identity, website design and original content remain protected by applicable law.

10. Third-party services and links

Couriers, hosting providers, communication services and linked websites may operate under their own terms. Sowban remains responsible for its obligations to customers but is not responsible for unrelated third-party content or services outside our control.

11. Service availability and liability

We may maintain, change or temporarily suspend parts of the website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a customer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Sowban is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable from the order.

12. Privacy

How we collect, use, share and retain personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for operational, legal or service changes. The revised date will be posted at the top. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights already accrued under an accepted order.

14. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Contact Sowban first at [email protected] with your order number and supporting evidence so we can try to resolve the issue promptly.

Nothing in these Terms limits a customer right or remedy available under applicable Bangladesh law.

এই ব্যবহারের শর্তাবলি Sowban Trading-এর ওয়েবসাইট, গ্রাহক অ্যাকাউন্ট, পণ্যের তথ্য, অর্ডার ও ডেলিভারি সেবা ব্যবহারের নিয়ম নির্ধারণ করে। ওয়েবসাইট ব্যবহার, অ্যাকাউন্ট খোলা বা অর্ডার করার মাধ্যমে আপনি এই শর্ত ও সংযুক্ত নীতিগুলো মেনে নিচ্ছেন।

১. Sowban Trading সম্পর্কে

২. যোগ্যতা ও অ্যাকাউন্ট

• চুক্তি করার আইনগত সক্ষমতা থাকতে হবে; ১৮ বছরের কম হলে অভিভাবকের তত্ত্বাবধান প্রয়োজন।
• সঠিক ও হালনাগাদ যোগাযোগ এবং ডেলিভারি তথ্য দিতে হবে।
• লগইন তথ্য ও অ্যাকাউন্টে হওয়া কার্যক্রমের নিরাপত্তা আপনার দায়িত্ব।
• প্রতারণা, অপব্যবহার, ভুয়া অর্ডার বা বেআইনি কার্যক্রম সন্দেহ হলে অ্যাকাউন্ট বা অর্ডার সীমিত করা হতে পারে।

৩. পণ্যের তথ্য ও আসলত্ব

আমরা বিশ্বস্ত সরবরাহকারীর মাধ্যমে আমদানিকৃত প্যাকেটজাত খাবার, পানীয় ও মুদি পণ্য সংগ্রহ করি। প্রস্তুতকারক প্যাকেজিং বদলালে ছবি, ভাষা বা রঙে সামান্য পার্থক্য হতে পারে। নাম, সাইজ, উৎপত্তি, মূল্য ও স্টক সঠিক রাখার চেষ্টা করি; স্পষ্ট প্রযুক্তিগত বা তথ্যগত ভুল ডিসপ্যাচের আগে সংশোধন করা হতে পারে। খাওয়ার আগে প্যাকেটের উপাদান, অ্যালার্জেন, ব্যবহার, সংরক্ষণ ও মেয়াদ অবশ্যই পড়ুন।

৪. মূল্য ও অফার

• মূল্য বাংলাদেশি টাকায় এবং অর্ডারের আগে পরিবর্তিত হতে পারে।
• “পাইকারি মূল্য” বা “পাইকারি সুবিধা” বলতে সাধারণ খুচরা পরিমাণেও প্রতিযোগিতামূলক মূল্য বোঝায়; সব সময় সব বিক্রেতার চেয়ে কম হবে এমন নিশ্চয়তা নয়।
• স্পষ্টভাবে অন্তর্ভুক্ত না থাকলে ডেলিভারি চার্জ আলাদা এবং চেকআউটে দেখানো হয়।
• স্পষ্ট মূল্যভুল হলে সংশোধিত মূল্য অনুমোদনের জন্য যোগাযোগ বা পণ্য বাতিল করা হতে পারে।
• কুপন ও প্রচারণায় সময়, স্টক, অ্যাকাউন্ট ও পণ্যের সীমা থাকতে পারে।

৫. অর্ডার, গ্রহণ ও স্টক

চেকআউট জমা দেওয়া ক্রয়ের প্রস্তাব; Sowban পূরণের জন্য নিশ্চিত করলে অর্ডার গৃহীত হয়। সীমিত আমদানি স্টকের কারণে কোনো পণ্য শেষ হতে পারে। আপনার সম্মতি ছাড়া উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে ভিন্ন পণ্য পাঠানো হবে না। ডিসপ্যাচের আগে বাতিলের অনুরোধ করা যায়; ডিসপ্যাচের পরে গ্রাহকের কারণে বাতিল হলে যুক্তিসংগত কুরিয়ার খরচ প্রযোজ্য হতে পারে।

৬. পেমেন্ট

বর্তমানে ক্যাশ অন ডেলিভারি গ্রহণ করা হয়। ইনভয়েস বা নিশ্চিত অর্ডারের চেয়ে বেশি অর্থ দেবেন না। Sowban-এর পরিচয়ে কেউ OTP, PIN, পাসওয়ার্ড বা ব্যাংকিং তথ্য চাইলে দেবেন না।

৭. ডেলিভারি ও পরীক্ষা

ঠিকানা, এলাকা, ওজন ও ডেলিভারি পদ্ধতি অনুযায়ী চার্জ হিসাব হয়। সাধারণ ডেলিভারি সময় অর্ডার নিশ্চিত হওয়ার পর ২–৩ কর্মদিবস। আবহাওয়া, যানজট, ছুটি, কুরিয়ার সক্ষমতা বা নিয়ন্ত্রণের বাইরে কারণে বিলম্ব হতে পারে। পেমেন্টের আগে ডেলিভারি কর্মীর সামনে পণ্য পরীক্ষা করুন; ভুল, ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত, লিক, মেয়াদোত্তীর্ণ, খোলা সিল বা টেম্পারিং থাকলে গ্রহণ করবেন না। বিস্তারিত শিপিং ও ডেলিভারি নীতিতে।

৮. রিটার্ন ও রিফান্ড

যোগ্যতা পণ্যের ধরন, সিল, খাদ্যনিরাপত্তা ও অবস্থার ওপর নির্ভর করে। খোলা খাবার/পানীয় মত পরিবর্তনের জন্য সাধারণত ফেরতযোগ্য নয়; তবে যাচাইকৃত গোপন ত্রুটি, নষ্ট বা নিরাপত্তা সমস্যা হলে প্রতিকার পাওয়া যেতে পারে। অর্ডারের আগে রিটার্ন ও রিফান্ড নীতি পড়ুন।

৯. গ্রহণযোগ্য ব্যবহার ও মেধাস্বত্ব

ওয়েবসাইট কেবল বৈধ ব্যক্তিগত কেনাকাটায় ব্যবহার করুন। নিরাপত্তা ভাঙা, ভুয়া অর্ডার, পরিচয় নকল, অননুমোদিত প্রবেশ বা সুরক্ষিত কনটেন্ট বাণিজ্যিকভাবে নকল করা নিষিদ্ধ।

১০. তৃতীয় পক্ষ

কুরিয়ার, হোস্টিং, যোগাযোগ ও লিঙ্ককৃত সেবা তাদের নিজস্ব শর্তে চলে। Sowban গ্রাহকের প্রতি নিজের দায়িত্ব পালন করবে, কিন্তু নিয়ন্ত্রণের বাইরে তৃতীয় পক্ষের স্বতন্ত্র কনটেন্টের জন্য দায়ী নয়।

১১. সেবা ও দায়

রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ বা পরিবর্তনের জন্য সেবা সাময়িক বন্ধ হতে পারে। আইনত বাদ দেওয়া যায় না এমন কোনো ভোক্তা অধিকার বা প্রতিকার এই শর্তে সীমিত হয় না।

১২. গোপনীয়তা

ব্যক্তিগত তথ্যের ব্যবহার গোপনীয়তা নীতিতে বর্ণিত।

১৩. পরিবর্তন

আইন, পরিচালনা বা সেবার পরিবর্তনে শর্ত হালনাগাদ হতে পারে। নতুন তারিখ প্রকাশ করা হবে এবং পূর্বে গৃহীত অর্ডারের অর্জিত অধিকার বাতিল হবে না।

১৪. আইন ও অভিযোগ

বাংলাদেশের আইন প্রযোজ্য। অর্ডার নম্বর ও প্রমাণসহ [email protected]-এ যোগাযোগ করুন। এই শর্তে প্রযোজ্য বাংলাদেশি আইনের কোনো ভোক্তা অধিকার বা প্রতিকার সীমিত হয় না।
